1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our handling of data as described herein. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian) to use the Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BitmapToSVG is an online tool that converts raster images (such as PNG, JPG, and WEBP) into vector formats (such as SVG, and where available PDF and EPS) using automated and AI-assisted image tracing.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. User Accounts

The Service is currently available without registration. We use an anonymous, cookie-based session to associate your conversions and paid downloads with your browser for a limited period so that you can re-download files you have purchased.

We may introduce optional user accounts in the future. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Administrative accounts are restricted to authorized operators of the Service only.

4. User Uploaded Content

"User Content" means any image or file you upload to the Service and any output generated from it. You are solely responsible for your User Content.

You represent and warrant that you own your User Content or have obtained all rights, licenses, and permissions necessary to upload it and have it processed by the Service. Uploaded files and generated outputs are stored only temporarily in order to deliver the Service (for example, paid downloads are retained for a limited window) and may be deleted automatically thereafter.

5. Copyright Ownership

As between you and us, you retain all ownership rights in your User Content and in the vector outputs generated from it. We do not claim ownership of your images or results.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to upload, process, or distribute content that is prohibited. In particular, you must NOT use the Service to upload or generate:

• Illegal images or any content that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Content that infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third party.
• Pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit material, or any content that sexualizes or depicts minors.
• Malware, or any attempt to attack, overload, disrupt, hack, reverse engineer, scrape, or circumvent the security, payment, or rate-limiting mechanisms of the Service.

7. AI Generated Results Disclaimer

Vectorization is performed using automated and AI-assisted processes. Results are provided "as is" and may contain inaccuracies, artifacts, or variations in quality depending on the input image. Vectorization is inherently approximate and outcomes are not guaranteed.

We do not warrant that outputs will be error-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. A free watermarked preview is provided before payment so that you can evaluate the quality before you buy. You are responsible for reviewing any output before relying on or using it.

8. Payments

Paid features of the Service are processed as follows:

• PayPal: Payments are processed securely through PayPal and are subject to PayPal’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
• Pricing: The Service is offered at the price displayed at checkout (currently US$4.99 per conversion download), exclusive of any applicable taxes. We may change prices at any time; changes apply only to future purchases.
• Taxes: You are responsible for any sales tax, VAT, GST, duties, or other taxes that may apply to your purchase and that are not collected by us or the payment processor.

9. Refund Policy

Because digital files are delivered instantly, all sales are generally final and non-refundable once a download has been unlocked. The free watermarked preview lets you assess the result before purchasing.

If a purchased output has a genuine technical defect, please contact us within a reasonable time with the relevant details. We will work in good faith to resolve the issue and may, at our discretion, re-process the file or issue a refund.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its software, source code, design, user interface, logos, trademarks, and all content other than your User Content — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these Terms, no license or right is granted to you in respect of our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

11. DMCA Copyright Notice

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content processed through the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to our designated agent at dmca@bitmaptosvg.com containing:

Notices that do not comply with applicable requirements may not be valid. We may remove allegedly infringing material and may terminate access for repeat infringers.

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it.
• Your contact information (name, address, email).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf, together with your physical or electronic signature.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BitmapToSVG and its operators, affiliates, and personnel from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any applicable law or third-party right.

15. Changes to These Terms

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
